In the natural world healthy organisms will grow. The church too is more an organism than an organisation - it is a living body, with Christ at the head. So how can we check on a church's state of health? A survey has been designed to help do so - the Natural Church Development Audit. To date amost 100 churches in Northern Ireland have used this survey to help them consider their current 'state of health'. It is proving extremely beneficial - rather like a visit to the doctors for a health check. It will show the current areas of strength and weakness  within the church's life based upon a survey of the active members of a church. The survey form used can be downloaded (see below) and photocopied as many times as you wish. Should a church choose to proceed with this very useful 'self-examination' the cost is only £350. This fee will enable Chris to process the survey forms, produce a full report for the leadership and spend at least one evening presenting the findings of the survey to the church's leadership.
